Growing UP

Here is my layout from last week's sketch. I happen to love the way this layout turned out. It brings back memories for me of going to Baba's and Dido's house on the weekends and picking around in their garden, playing by the shed for hours with my sisters and lying under the apple trees. Good Times!!

I used Sassafrass Lass paper and the Slice Machine for some of the die-cuts and the title!

BLOW

Word association last week had us working with the word, blow. Well, for me, in the fall leaves blow in the wind. Therefore, my card deals with fall and all its splendour. I know, if you live near where i do, who wants to think about fall so soon!? But, I had these papers and they were yelling at me to be used...fall colours, fall leaves, blowing in the wind!

CLASSES

I didn't post on Sunday as I wanted to get our classes up to show you what we are offering for some upcoming classes!
Here are two more being offered in July and August. I just love these ideas, a beautiful hand-stitched card to add classic sophistication to your Christmas cards and a stationery set for yourself or others - a great way to stay organized!

sketch

Today's sketch deals mainly with a radial layout. It may be slightly wacky....but, stay with me, it looks pretty neat in the end. I placed the flower there as the embellishment, however, i won't be using a flower i will be using a die-cut.

Word Association

Ahhh, word association again. I really like these, they definitely challenge the mind to create something using these words.

Today's word: BLOW

To move with speed or force, according to Merriam-Websiter Online. But how about, some of these ideas to get some ideas going:
Blow out the candles
The leaves were blowing
Blow the dandelion seeds (just wait - don't we don't want them to spread)
The wind is sure blowing today...

I can definitely think of at least one layout and one card using this word. I will show you next week, what I came up with. Show me yours, using our new...Mr. Linky.
It's easy, just post your idea to your blog or to an online photo sharing community and link to it using Mr. Linky.
