A Challenge

I have had this ad for quite some time and have taken a liking to it, quite a bit!
What type layout will you create based on it? What kind of inspiration to you gather?

I am looking at the bold type, the grey and a touch of pink colour, as well as the definitive split in graphics.
My layout will be posted next week.

AN IRISH BLESSING CARD

Last week I had an Irish blessing that I thought would go great as a greeting for a card. So this week, I have placed that blessing inside my card. Plus, this is one of the cards we will be teaching for our watercolour card class. You can check out the details online at WATERCOLOUR CARDS

A FEW WEEKS AGO

A few weeks ago, I posted a sketch for a layout. Well tonight i have the layout. There were a few adjustments, however the general sketch can still be seen. I have used Bazzill cardstock, Making Memories escape paper, stickles on the 'x' chipboard - add some journalling and we are complete!

Thanks for looking and coming back to visit!

Happy Holiday Monday

It has been a great two day weekend for me! I have to say, i have enjoyed it very much. Caught up on a little bit of work, went for a workout yesterday and a pretty wicked bike ride today! Great for the tri training!

I have managed to find a pretty cool website. Let me tell you discovering cool websites are pretty fantastic. There is so much out there that when you discover a unique one, you have to share it.

This is a great cinema challenge blog to share: CINEMA CHALLENGE. HOPE YOU LIKE IT!

COLOUR COMBO CHALLENGE

Well, here we go again. A colour combination challenge. I have to make a wedding card for a friend for next week, therefore I thought we could try these colours in combination: chartreuse, black, white and grey (which is supposed to be silver).
So, definitely the colour combination may be slightly odd, or let's say, something we wouldn't regularly work with, but its a challenge....right?!

I will show you the card I create for next week, remember, a card or a layout would look extra formal with these colours together!

Have fun!
