Mickey Colour Scheme

The colour combination chosen last week was perfect for a Disneyland layout.  A trip that occurred more than 10 years ago was waiting to be scrapbooked using this combination.

What would you do with this color combination?

Just think bright red for the 2nd colour there - i used web safe colours, however it still came out a little cajun-y.

New Product

We have received various new product at the store again.  This time we have Bo Bunny Press' new chipboard and albums, as well, their 6" alphabets to create your own word albums.  We also have received Jillibean Soup and Webster's Pages.  The kraft paper from Jillibean Soup is enticing for any page and you can display your creations with Webster's Pages' new 16"*16" frames with a 13"*13" opening for your layout.  It has a magnetic base to allow for easy display of your layouts.  Really, this frame is "to-die-for."

This is a simple layout of the various elements from our wedding day.

Random

I asked my husband to give me a colour... green, was his resounding answer!

So green it is.  How appropriate too, it is March with St. Patrick's Day coming.  And hopefully, we will see the green grass of spring too.  

So green: a calm, refreshing colour seen widely in nature.  It is used to soothe people and even improve vision.  A colour to symbolize fertility, conservatism, wealth and even masculinity.

We have received our ever popular shipment of 'stickles' along with embossing powders, pastes and distress inks.

Blog Sketch

Here is the sketch for the week. The tic tac toe lines are meant to be stitched, however, of course, you can use thin pieces of paper, felt markets, stickles or whatever suits your fancy. As well then the squares are all meant to be photos, but again, you can use pattern paper squares in there if you wish too.

I love this layout sketch - I am going to try and make it a holiday layout.

Colourful Layout

This layout colour scheme works with the colours displayed from last week's post.  A soft scheme where I will use a black and white photo.  I of course, need to add a title and think I may sew around the perimeter of the layout.

We have received more new product in store.  Prima flowers, Bo Bunny Press patterened papers and stickers, Graphic 45 and more.  So many themes, including, spring, pet, heritage, summer and more...
