LAYOUT

Here is a version of my layout in reference to last week's advertisement. I used the primary colours of the lego pieces and the simplicity of the advertisement itself. The type i tried to keep in the same place, however I ended up placing mine more towards the lower corner.

NEW PRODUCT

We have new Making Memories Slice Cartridges in Stock and some new Dazzles themed stickers.

The slice cartridges now have enhanced features so you can shadow, mirror and cut faster!

SKETCH

Our sketch for the week. It is a day late, yes and I am sorry for that.

Inspiration Day

So it is inspiration day, yes quotes or colours, but i think i want to expand this day's options...
Lots of times, i look to print ads and various health, food products to draw inspiration from. I have attached an advertisement seen in Dubai for karate classes. I sourced this ad from, AD SOURCE
Next week, you will see what my layout would look like based on this ad.

Sketch and layout

Well, here is my layout from last week's sketch. Our new product preempted the layout from Thursday, so i thought i would post it today. THis album is a 6*9 and i really like the way it is turning out - yes, i am still working on photos from 5 years ago, but who is counting?

SWITCH

I am switching my day's today, so Sunday i will have an image of the layout from last week's sketch. Instead, i wanted to show you some of the product we received. We have now received, Basic Grey's Christmas and Fall lines, Making Memories Mistletoe line and Prima flowers.
These are just a few images as to what is now in stock.

AN IRISH BLESSING CARD

Last week I had an Irish blessing that I thought would go great as a greeting for a card. So this week, I have placed that blessing inside my card. Plus, this is one of the cards we will be teaching for our watercolour card class. You can check out the details online at WATERCOLOUR CARDS

SKETCH

I am beginning to think most of my sketches are looking the same....
Well, i have another sketch today and hopefully it is a little different than most.
Easy enough to complete in a sitting, but use whatever embellishments you want as a border (where i used the butterflies).

Quotes

I adore quotes - i think they bring magic to an otherwise ho-hum idea of your own (especially when you cannot think of anything good to say). So let's work with a quote this week.

its a simple little quote, but excellent for a card greeting or a nature type layout. At the very least, i hope it gives you ideas to work with!

A FEW WEEKS AGO

A few weeks ago, I posted a sketch for a layout. Well tonight i have the layout. There were a few adjustments, however the general sketch can still be seen. I have used Bazzill cardstock, Making Memories escape paper, stickles on the 'x' chipboard - add some journalling and we are complete!
