Colour Trends

I have been creating some wedding invitations lately and have gone to various sites to try and determine what the top colour trends for 2010 might be. Let me pass them on to you, you can use these colours in so many different ways...home decor and renovation, carkmaking, scrapbooking, clothes shopping . . . I wish I could do all of those.

It looks like blue, is a major winner this year, along with purple still, but a fun colour might just be coral.
I saw this at MY PERSONAL ARTIST - a great sight for colour predicitons.

FASHION TRENDSETTERis another great reference for finding out what might just be the hip colours to blaze the runway.

BIRD: CLOTHING is another great find for a somewhat eclectic look and feelwith designers spanning the globe, clothing is always a great reference for what might just be. This is where the clothing image is got from.

HOUSE & HOME can be one other place to park yourself for inspiration, be it colour, renovations, design and style.

Finally, I have been reading that there is enough with the neutral colours as the economy gets back on track, therefore, reds, vibrant purples: DARK & BOLD! However, having read some blogs also....they are stating a more paired down approach is still in order. As alluded to, isn't it the feel of a cozy home, where memories are made that life should be found, and not trying to still keep up with the Joneses? Let's DIY, pair down, make old new again and just be! I'm up for that! Having stated that the, the 'homey' feel is still running strong. Therefore, peasanty colours, neutrals, greys and blacks are still, still moving in on 2010.

What colours will do it for you? Whatever colours they may be, wear them, decorate them, show them with style and pride. Isn't that why we are all here anyways (or at least in a minor way)? To show others what we are made of?!
