Although this weather has me feeling blue i thought we would work with yellow as a bit of a 'pick me up.'
Yellow conjures thoughts of....butter (?), flowers, bumble bees, sunshine, spring...no wonder i wanted to work with yellow...it brings me out of this snowbound weather.
Yellow evokes optimism, happiness, idealism and imagination. However, while it is "considered an optimistic color, people lose their tempers more often in yellow rooms, and babies will cry more. It is the most difficult color for the eye to take in, so it can be overpowering if overused. So work with yellow in your layout - maybe it is a 'baby page,' maybe it is a spring page or maybe a layout that will help you 'enhance your concentration...'
